Yay! I'm so excited! My friend Sarah and I had a maternity photo shoot this weekend and the pictures turned out amazing! We spent a couple hours on Friday shooting a bunch of pictures in my back yard. I cannot believe how well they turned out. She's so talented.
We got really lucky with a (relatively rare) sunny day in Harrogate. The conditions could not have been better.
We took most of the pictures before Dan got home from work. I knew he wouldn't last too long during the session, so we tried to limit how much time he needed to be "on." Ha!
This one is so cheesy, but we had to do it.
I had two outfit changes, and both totally came together at the last minute. There are not a lot of maternity options here in Harrogate--it's pretty much just H&M. I've mostly been relying on the clothes that my parents so generously bought me back in November, and non-maternity pieces I've picked up at Primark (a cheap UK store). I just happened to find two adorable dresses at H&M last week though and picked them up on a whim. I think they worked out perfectly.
This was one of my favorites from the day, even though I don't really look that pregnant. It's so strange how the outfit and angle make such a big difference.
It was such a fun day that I'll remember forever. Huge thanks to Sarah for making this all happen! Now let's play a game. Which is your favorite? I'm leaning toward the silhouette. I still can't believe that's me!

Since neither Sarah nor I had done this before, we weren't sure what poses would work best. Enter my good friend Pinterest. It's a such a treasure trove of inspiration.

You look gorgeous in all of these! My faves are the first one and the one of you and Dan when you're in the pink outfit. P.S. Miss you tons!

ReplyDeleteLove them all! You look AMAZING! I'm jealous of your tiny belly--mine was so big;) Hard to pick a fave, but I like the first one, the silhouette, and the ones with Dan's and your hands. All are so beautiful! Can't wait to see pics of Little Levin when she arrives!
