Before any trip there are a million things that have to get done and it's easy to overlook one or two of them. On our last trip when I was very hungry but didn't have the usual emergency granola bar stashed away in my purse, we decided we should just make a pre-travel check list and keep it with our travel stuff.
We brainstormed for a few days, adding new items as they came to mind. Today I put our list into Microsoft Word, added some pretty colors and printed it on cardstock. Now we can just pull out our checklist before our trips.
Obviously some items are more universal than others (e.g. spoons--my parents have been collecting souvenir spoons as long as I can remember. They have hundreds of them from all over the world!). But please feel free to steal this checklist if it applies to you.
