My parents' yard won the prestigious neighborhood award of "Yard of the Month."
Side note: ducks do not like matzah. Who knew they were so picky with their wheat products?
This is a huge deal. My parents have lived in the same house for 28 years. They take great care of their lawn and have always prided themselves on their curb-appeal. Yet they have never, ever won Yard of the Month. Not once in 28 years.
Their back yard looks amazing too. And, since they live in Texas, they get to enjoy it all-year round.
I came outside this morning and found that I'm not the only one who appreciates this beautiful space. This little guy does too.
