UPDATE: Congrats to Sarah S. whose guess of June 30, 8 pounds 1 ounce was pretty darn close! (Right answer was June 29, 8 pounds 0 ounces). Sarah, keep an eye out for your jam and vanilla. Enjoy! And thanks to everyone for playing!
My parents had a great idea--I should run a contest to see who can guess when Baby Levin will arrive. I'm currently 39 weeks and one day pregnant, meaning she will definitely come some time between now and July 5th. The midwives really don't want you to go longer than two weeks after your due date, so they'll induce me on the 4th if she doesn't come on her own.

- PRIZE: One jar of homemade strawberry-rhubarb jam and one jar of homemade vanilla extract

ReplyDeleteAs your father I am thinking that June 21st will be the arrival date of my first granddaughter. It is possible since she is a girl that she could be running a bit late, however. Regardless I will take her whatever day or night that she arrives. We are all so very anxious, as are you I am sure.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your nice quiet Shabbos together as it may be the last one for just the two of you. Ho weird is that/
Love,
Dad
As your SIS I think it will be June 19th 7 pounds and 7 inch...
ReplyDeletejohn alexander says: sometime between 2100 02 July and 0400 03 July. Also, if I don't win, i still would like to get (buy) some vanilla extract. 4 important principles I live by: 1) butter makes everything better, 2) there is no such thing as too much diet coke, 3) a little more sugar is always a good idea and 4) double the amount of vanilla in any recipe and if the recipe doesn't call for vanilla, change the recipe and then double it.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE these rules! I'm not big on diet coke, but the rest of the rules I can definitely get behind :)
Deletejune 25th
ReplyDelete7 lbs 10 ounces
Since you presented yourself 2 days late, I will predict the same for little Aimee Jessica. So, June 22nd is my guess. 7 lbs. 6 oz. Can't wait (but I will)
ReplyDeleteLove,
Mom
Pam is guessing June 23rd, but doesn't have a weight guess (I forgot to ask her).
I predict Baby Levin will be born on 25 June around 0800 and weigh 7 lb 9 oz. :)
